WHO AM I?

I was born in Victoria, grew up in Queensland and now live in New South Wales. No, I’m not Chris Hemsworth, but I do get that a lot.

I don’t know if I go for the Bombers, the Lions or the Swans, but I do have a Swans scarf in my wardrobe ready for footy season.

I’m partial to a cold brew on a summer’s day or a mulled wine in winter with my spoodle, Theodore.

I started in the wedding industry as an MC back in 2003 and have been a marriage celebrant since 2014, so I have been in and around weddings for a very long time.

You may have seen me on TV or on the stage representing Australia’s favourite alcohol brands, fast food or some well-known banks. Despite the fact I may have been chosen because I have so much in common with the Hemsworth boys, I do in fact have a strong background in performing. My favourite song to sing at karaoke is Rehab by Amy Winehouse (RIP). 

The experience of an actor and inner-city karaoke star makes for a well-rounded marriage celebrant IMO. I am observant throughout ceremonies to capture any off-the-cuff moments and these are often the most memorable. The moments that cannot be scripted are always the best!

No two couples are the same, so neither should their ceremonies.
